Today, founder Ashley Easterly received a congratulatory letter in the mail from Senator John Cornyn regarding her selection as a Distinguished Finalist in the Prudential Spirit of Community Awards.

Today, Glenda Dawson High School's NJROTC program made a generous donation to Suitcase4Soldiers. This month, S4S has received donations from Dawson's NJROTC, Pearland High School's National Honor Society, and Classical Conversations School Clear Lake. The donations have filled up 6 large trunks in all, and will be shipped soon!

Today, we received a letter from a soldier in Afghanistan that is soon to be on his way home to teach at a high school in Alabama. He expressed his gratitude for the trunks S4S sent and wanted to further help S4S when he returns home.
